A Clockwork Orange blamed for violence in the 1970s
Stanley Kubrick withdrew A Clockwork Orange from UK theatrical circulation because he was tired of the critical backlash towards his film that blamed it for a host of violent crimes in the early 1970s. Ten influential films that don't get the recognition they deserve
